STALEMATE: MATERIAL DISADVANTAGE TO YOUR ADVANTAGE

Stalemate can be beautiful. It's where the player whose turn it is to move has no possible move, resulting in a draw.

Stalemate can save you in many positions. Here is a simple example:

It is black's turn, but they cannot move anywhere. Please do not make this mistake as white! Here is another position:

Next, I will show you how to defend against stalemate threats. As you might have noticed, I put a ?? on c8=Q for white in the previous example ... because white could have WON! Here's how!
