Chess Clubs: Which ones to join, and ones that are not so good.
Hello, all. Looking for chess clubs to join? Do you have to many chess clubs? New? Well this is for you.
If you are looking for clubs to join, then go to option 1. If you have too many chess clubs, go to option 2. If you are new, go to option 3.
1. Alright so this is how to find good chess clubs to join, that match YOUR style. So what club do you want? Here are some ideas:
-Laid back and social. These types of clubs are less for playing and more for chatting and making friends. Competitive- These are clubs that are giving everything to top the charts. If you are looking for a very active club where you can play a lot of games, then join one of these. Mix- These clubs are social and fun, but still are active and play competitive matches. If you want specific suggestion on which ones to join according to your preferred style, please state so in comments.
2. So do you have too many chess clubs? If this is is your issue, than I could defiantly be of some assistance. First of all, if you are in clubs with no action, and no one is talking, it's your time to leave the club. If you are in a situation where almost all the clubs your in are good, try and pick favorites. If you simply have too many and they are all good, then stay in them if you must, but be a little less active in each.
Okay so if you are new to chess clubs, this is what to do. So Chess.com chess clubs are online chess club in which you can talk and socialize, play daily chess, live arenas, and vote chess. (For those who are unaware, vote chess is where members in a chess club vote for a move in a form of daily chess. ) So if you want a good way to get plugged into the chess.com community, then join a few chess clubs.
Hope this helps!
