NFL Startup Thoughts: Part One
Hi, all! I am starting a new blogging series focused on NFL football. I will still be making other blogs about chess. Don't worry. Here are my top 12 teams with best Super Bowl odds.
12. Denver Broncos. The broncos have a fair shot at the Lombardi trophy thanks to staff and good offense. Last year, there were three rookie QB's people has an eye on. Jayden Daniels, Caleb Williams, and Bo Nix. It's different every year. This year 2 of those quarterback made NFL playoffs. Bo Nix and Jayden Daniels. Nix came out of Oregon and did super well, even giving KC their 1st loss that season. They will be interesting.
11. Falcons. Drake London has a good offense. However, he must have a defense to help him out. The good news for the Falcons is that winning the division won't be very hard.
10. Chargers. Okay. This is a team with a solid line on both sides, good QB, good staff. Nothing as far as stopping the pass. They have to get it together on deep defense. If they can, they will be a really though opponent.
9. Steelers. This could be a really really good season for them, or really really bad. They have to get together as a team and have that chemistry like teams such as the Eagles, Lions and Rams.
8. Texans. Okay, CJ. This is it. C'mon already y'all. It's no or never. This will be CJ Stroud 3rd season in the NFL. ( I know, they grow up so fast don't they. ) The Texans need to put thier heads down and win. If they truly zone in on where they are weak, and fill the gaps then no one will want to face Houston.
7. Rams. Okay. You have to admit it is pretty cool to see the Rams win a playoff game when their city in such a tough time. I truly feel for the city of Los Angeles and hope their recovery is as quick as possible. The Rams have the motivation. They have a solid team. A few slight changes like a new safety and a new TE would be perfect.
6. Bills. So Josh Allen is good. How good? That is the question. Is Josh Allen SUPER BOWL good? If the Bills are happy with simply making the playoffs and falling each year, then keep up exactly what they're doing. If they want a Super Bowl ring any time soon. Maybe a fresh start should come up.
5. Commanders. Jayden Jayden Jayden. He came in and shook up the league. No doubt about it. He completely turned things around for this league. He made other teams scared of Washington. He did as he should. All the commanders need is a better O line and they are solid.
4. Chiefs. KC, I'm sorry. I just don't t see another ring this year. For the chiefs, they need NEW talent. People who can help the veterans thrive. People who will stick around and not retire. If that can happen, then maybe just maybe they can get a 3peat in the books.
3. Lions. What. The. H**l happened?? It was the sweetest story of the season. The lions break a curse move up, go beat the Chiefs in a SB and win. What on earth happened against the commanders. The defense melted like butter. Horrible. However, they have a good coach. If they can lock in and win, then they will be unstoppable.
2. Ravens. The Ravens have it. So. Close. All they need to do in get some better special teams, and they will kick a**.
1. Eagles. Ya did it. Another one? Maybe. Possibly. Probably. All they need to do is not get full of themselves. All they need to do is still respect other teams and treat every game like it the Super Bowl like they did last season. If this can be done. It's over.
As always, please leave feedback.
We all a work in progress.
Until next time, have a great day. - Mateo Taylor
