These are basic Chess Positional concepts you need to know. These concepts could be helpful and may help you win some games. Here are 7 Chess Concepts you need to know

1.Watch out for stalemate =Stalemate happens when you opponents king is not in check and cannot move.

2.Activate your king =Try to activate your king especially in pawn end games.

3.Passed Pawns should be pushed =The chances of you promoting your passed pawns could be high. Your opponents King may be too far from preventing the passed pawn.

4.Try to create passed pawns =Once you've captured some of your opponents pieces having a passed pawn could be easy especially on the h-file

5.Passed Pawns should be supported by your pieces=If you leave a passed pawn hanging with no defenders the chances of you promoting may be low. So always try to find a way to support your passed pawns.

6.King and Queen checkmate strategy =make sure that you put your king to the corner or push all the way to the last files in order to be able to checkmate way quicker, watch out for stalemates

7.King and Rook checkmate strategy =Also putting your opponents king to the last file can make a checkmate.

Hopefully these chess positional concepts helped you.
