Chess at Stanford
I visited Stanford University last week while attending the California Open in Concord, CA (no I did not play, just watched, and it was a GREAT experience). I played a bright young Stanford student by the name of William Chidyausiku. We played five games. He won 3 of the 5 games we played. The fourth game I was frustrated and determined. He had already one two games but had dominated all three games, blundering away a losing position in one of the games that I was happy to pounce on (giving away a Rook with check with his Queen waiting behind the Queen).
The fourth game was awesome as he lost a Knight early but had good attacking possibilities and at move 15 forced me to exchange a Rook for a Knight. Then I found a winning tactical shot. I hope you enjoy the game.
