TGIF! The structure of our weeks may be feeling more disjointed than ever, but it's still Friday.

We wanted to share an update with ChessKid users worldwide about our recent efforts to expand linguistic and cultural accessibility to website features. Now is the time for us to reach out to others and connect globally. We want ChessKid to be available to everyone, no matter what language you speak!

Learning from home is more important than ever. ChessKids, families, teachers and coaches everywhere need resources to continue learning, growing, and engaging together. Here are a few recent efforts we have made towards these goals:

🇫🇷ChessKid France:

  • The French version of ChessKid is live here. We are beginning to upload lesson translations! The first is available now. In the meantime, we are on Facebook as ChessKid France.

🇪🇸ChessKid en Español!

  • The ChessKid site can be accessed for Spanish videos using this link thanks to the wonderful Ivette Garcia Morales! For updates you can follow us: we are now ChessKid ES on Facebook. Our first article in Spanish was published recently by WFM Marjoire J. Bocangel, and more articles are coming soon involving WIM Alejandra Guerrero as well.

🇩🇪ChessKid Germany

🇰🇷ChessKid Korea

🇮🇳ChessKid India

  • ChessKid India has been active for quite some time now! Some of you may have read about our partnership with Chief CK India Mentor and 5-time world champion Vishy Anand, or participated in our India Speed Chess Tournament (where the prize was a meet-and-greet with Anand himself)! ChessKid India is active on Facebook and Twitter.

We are making beginnings in new languages and with new communities--bear with us during this process, and let us know what you want to see next!
