FM Shreyas Royal Earns Two IM Norms!

Brilliant young UK chess prodigy FM Shreyas Royal has won two IM norms in consecutive tournaments! This ChessKid star is well on the road to becoming an International Master.

At 13 years old, the young chess master is only one norm away from holding the International Master title. It has been a year since Shreyas achieved the FIDE Master title, and now he is playing with a 2535 performance rating.

From September 9-14, 2022, Shreyas achieved his first IM norm at the Mindsports GM Tournament in London and earned his second norm, along with a joint 3rd, at the Hit-A-Open Tournament in Slovenia between September 16-22, 2022.
