Hey ChessKids! Recapping the past few weeks: Young chess prodigy and ChessKid star NM Brewington Hardaway scored the 2022 K-8 National Champion title, and FunMasterMike got to meet with a bunch of ChessKids in Ohio. Check it out!


2022 K-8 MS National Champion!

In late April through early May, NM Brewington Hardaway competed in the 2022 K-8 Middle School National Championships in Texas, hosted by US Chess, placing first after a tie break and coming in third with his team! Congratulations, Brew! peshka

He was awarded by GM Julio Sadorra, a chess coach at the University of Texas at Dallas chess program who is also a friend of ChessKid.

FunMasterMike & ChessKids in Ohio!

We had a blast at the US Chess National Elementary (K-6) Championship in Columbus, Ohio! Thank you to everyone who attended this event and participated in the "How to be a ChessKid Star" live show. We loved meeting all of you and hope to have more in-person OTB events in the future!
