ChessKid European Team Festival - Region 3: March 26
Latvia and Slovakia emerged victorious in the previous two rounds (Recap: Region 1 & Region 2)
Join us on March 26th at 6am PT/9am ET/3pm CET to welcome four new countries into the competition: Albania, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Turkey!

2nd Annual ChessKid Girls and Women's Championship: April 16
In case you missed previous announcements, we're bringing back the 2nd Annual CK Girls and Women's Champ! This event is open to all female chess players in the USA. Individual and team prizes will be awarded to all scholastic players and feature individual prizes for the women's section.

Prizes
Girls Individual Awards: Individual plaques for the top three in each section along with a year of free ChessKid Gold Membership. In addition, the top 10 girls in each section get to participate in a chess camp led by a female GM!
Girls Team Awards: Plaques for the top three teams for the top three scores from each school in each section.
Women's Individual Awards: Plaques for the top three women and the top 10 women get to participate in a chess camp led by a female GM!
Mother/Daughter Awards: The top three mother-daughter pairs (combined score) will also receive plaques!
First-Ever ChessKid Ireland Championship: April 24
Calling all our ChessKid friends in Ireland! This event is open to all scholastic chess players under the age of 12 years old. It will feature two sections-- a U9 and a 9-12--over the course of G7+5. Players will play a total of seven rounds and at the end, top players will be crowned ChessKid Irish Champions!
The event will be streamed on the ChessKid Twitch/YouTube channels, and will feature commentary from GM Alexander Baburin!

The top player in each section will receive a sponsorship to one of GM Alexander Baburin's Chess Camps!
