Rising ChessKid Stars Win Big & New Chess Series Streaming Now!
Hey ChessKids! -- Can you believe it? We're already approaching February! Let's catch up with our rising ChessKid stars AND introduce a new series we're starting on YouTube.
IM Norm Invitational Tournaments
This past weekend, some of our extraordinary ChessKids competed in separate IM Norm Invitational tournaments: NM Ryo Chen, FM Tani Adewumi, and CM Brewington Hardaway.
Possibly the hardest event of their lives!

Ryo, the reigning ChessKid Youth Speed Chess Champion of 2021, earned his first IM norm with a score of 7.0/9! Ranking #3 in the world for his age group!
Tani played two straight wins! Finishing the tournament strong with an even score of 4.5/9!
Brewington's first IM Norm tournament achieved an even score of 4.5/9!
All learned tons from this great experience

Other exciting news, Tani recently played in Chess.com's 2022 Puzzle Battle World Championship, competing against GM Daniel Naroditsky, GM Ray Robson, and IM Christopher Noe, AND solved 49 puzzles in three minutes! Way to go Tani! How awesome is that?

Brew also won first in the 7th-grade section AND the national title with a 6.5/7 at the National K-12 Grade Championship! Congrats, Brew!
