A whopping 2,100+ KIDS have signed up for our inaugural US Chess/ChessKid Online Elementary Championship. The tournament is taking place this weekend: August 8-9, 2020 on the ChessKid live server. This event will be entirely online, and we have a few activities planned around it.

The Photo Competition!

If you or your child is participating in this weekend's tournament, post a photo! Our favorite three will receive a one-year gold ChessKid membership FREE.

The Rules:

  • Tag us on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter
  • Use the hashtag #USChessKid
  • Post a photo showing your participation in the tournament and ChessKid on the computer screen!

The winners will be announced by the following Friday and the top three pictures get one-year gold membership to ChessKid.com (or similar value).

The Livestream:

This event will take place online with commentary from FM Mike Klein (FunMasterMike) and GM Ben Finegold (Benzoo). You can watch it (per usual) on Twitch.tv/chesscomevents. You can also watch it live on Facebook at 12PM Pacific on Saturday: it will be visible at the top of our page.

We will be active on social media throughout both days of the event. Reach out to us with your thoughts, opinions, and observations. We hope you enjoy the tournament!
