ChessKid is proud to support women in chess, empowering bright young female chess players to pursue the game.

As part of our ongoing efforts to promote chess to girls across the world, we traveled to New Zealand and Australia to support Girls' Day events.

In late March, we visited Auckland, New Zealand, to take part in the Little Chess Stars FIDE Event and the Lauriston Girls' School in Melbourne, Australia. We had an incredible time at both events and were thrilled to gift gold memberships to all the lovely ladies. 

ChessKid USA Girls Championship

We're excited to announce the return of the ChessKid USA Girls Championship! The third edition of this annual tournament is open to all scholastic female chess players in the USA (K-12th grade). Those who register to participate in this event will receive three months of free ChessKid gold membership.

• Warm-Up Event for Early Registrations: May 1, 2023
• Regular Registration Deadline: May 2, 2023, at 11:59 pm ET
• Championship Event: Saturday, May 6, at 9:00 am PT / 12:00 pm EST

• Top players in each section will be invited to participate in a live stream with a famous female chess streamer AND receive a $100 gift card to ChessKidShop.com
