Annoy Opponent's With Tactics!
Listen up! Tactics is a powerful tool in chess. Most chess players don’t understand the concept of tactics yet but let me explain.
Some players are great at finding the best moves in chess puzzles. They might solve tactic puzzles quicker than experienced opponents, but chess isn’t just solving positions. There is a big distinction between solving chess puzzles and playing full chess games because you have to get to the position. How do you do it?
Let me explain this here. You get to those winning positions in chess puzzles by using strategy. Dominating center control, active pieces, good pawn structure, more space, more material, and most importantly king safety will help you win more games.
We’re not getting too technical with specific permanent and temporary advantages in this article but I’ll save it for another article.
I want readers to understand strategy leads to tactics and tactics can lead to a winning position. Of course, when a beginner still blunders pieces and doesn’t consider their moves, then you won’t see this idea in action. When watching top chess players battle, it starts with strategy and ends with tactics.
Once you understand that strategy leads to tactics, aggravating the opponent in chess becomes easier. If you can acquire a big advantage and a few of these areas, then the moves should play themselves. For example, if you have a space advantage and your opponent’s side is cramped, that gives you all the time in the world to set up tactical combinations.
Threatening a plan every move will put peak pressure on your opponent to the point where they will have higher chances of making a mistake. If you realize that your opponent’s pieces are not active. If the opponent is in a situation where they’re so passive they’re waiting on you to attack, then you’re in control. You can set up plans at your own pace.
Make sure the attack is perfect before pressing ahead. The main thing that leads to annoying your opponent is strategically beating them first where it seems like every move they make on their side is tactically against them.
Keep on fighting til the end, staying focused in chess, and real life too! PEACE
