Pawn Majorities Should Be Mobilized in Endgames

Guy 1:

All right, these are the group of people we’re going to fight. The sacrifices we made have led to this very moment, and I promise you this: they don't know what's about to hit them.

Guy 2: 

What do you mean, what’s about to hit them? Because from my standpoint, there are three of them and two of us. Do you even have a plan? 

Guy 1:

No plan, just straight hands. 

Guy 2:

So we're about to lose. 

Guy 1:

No one said we’re about to lose, we're definitely about to show them who's boss.

Guy 2:

How? There are three of them and two of us.

Like, do you know any martial arts? Karate? MMA? boxing? Etc? 

Guy 1:

NOPE, I DON’T NEED ANY OF THAT CRAP.

Guy 2:

Bro, just look at them right now, living life carefree, without a worry in the world. Are we really being serious? How is this going to even happen? It seems to me we’re around the same strength, around the same height, and are already staring directly at us, ready to fight. 

Guy 1:

Are you sure about that? I do feel like I'm a little bit taller than the one on the right. 

Guy 2:

No, we're all the same height, all the same strength, and weirdly enough, we're all wearing the same clothes. 

Guy 1:

Well, it doesn't matter anyway because I'm already intimidating them as we speak.

Guy 2:

No, literally, you're not intimidating anybody because they're staring at us, ready to fight. Honestly, they were already prepared to fight us the moment we walked up. We don't even have the art of surprise anymore. 

Guy 1:

Man, you're thinking too much about this. All we need to do is go over there, I’ll hit the one on the right, and you take the two on the left—

Guy 2:

TWO? Who do you think I am?

Guy 1:

Just listen, imagine going home tonight, satisfied, because we beat them down. Plus, I have more fighting experience in them anyway.

Guy 2:

No, you don't. Oddly enough, we're all the same age, born on the same day and at the same time. We even went to the same school our entire life. There's no difference between them and us. 

Guy 1:

Are you a double agent or something? Like, I need you to have just a tiny bit more faith in us surviving this fight? 

Guy 2:

Maybe I would have a fair amount of faith in us if it weren't so ill-matched. I'm trying to be a realist here; we're not going to win this fight. There is no difference between them and us. 

Guy 1:

So… we're about to lose. 

Guy 2:

That's what I'm explaining. I don't know why this grudge started, but this is not a winning battle. 

Guy 1:

We should probably get some more backup, huh? 

Guy 2:

Yeah, that would be great because we're about to get stomped.
