   What's up tourney addicts?

Last year I ran a set of 64-player KO tournaments throughout many ratings groups that seemed to go over well with a lot of good games. Well, it's that time again! Using the same ratings groups, with the player pool now up to a 100, I expect them to be just as popular with just as many good games, if not even some great games.

Below are the links to join the tournaments. There are 5 rating groups plus an OPEN tournament, and the breakdown is as follows:

The settings for the tournament are mostly default with 2 concurrent games, RATED, Tie-Breaks, and yes, Vacation time for those who have odd work hours or for those who travel for their work. and all tournaments are 3 days/move (also for those who require more time because of their offline schedules.)

The tournaments are on Auto-Start, so they will begin as soon as they are full.

It's a standard KO tournament setting, with 2 players per group and only 1 advances. If these catch on, I might up the groups to 4 or 5 for the next batch of tourneys. Cool

I will be following each tournament and their progress, as well as the comments, just to make sure things stay respectful amongst the players, so keep things clean and fun and let the games begin!  Cool

The group has since boiled over the 6000 member mark and is growing more and more every day and new shows and events are constantly being added to the arsenal. There's always something happening in the group. Don't miss out.

I am now once again doing my chess journalism on Chess.com, following news, events, announcements, etc. I'm not going to let a couple of idiotic people chase me away from what I love to do. If I get any bad comments, they will be deleted right away.
