Blitz Chess #367: Black Knights' Tango
This is a blitz chess game I played as black with time control 5|0. The opening played was the Black Knights' Tango by transposition. Black offers up some space in exchange for a defined pawn center and some dark square play . There is a little waiting game in the opening with both sides not wanting to castle too early. If white does castle early, it is possible for white to come under some king pressure with fishing pole-like ideas, hence why black too doesn't castle as the rook on h8 may play a role. As it was, one side castled not at all in the game, whereas another did and had to endure a fair amount of pressure despite being a pawn up. Who would crack first in this messy game out of the Black Knights' Tango?
