I share my thoughts while trying to solve 3 chess puzzles.
Loved this video! and now tracking you: see you soon!
I thought for sure it was Qc4 but you got it right - bc1.
2 out of 3
I got the first one & the third one right, and got the second one half right...
Thanks! More please...
Nice puzzles, solved the first two ones quickly, but also played ...Rf1+ Kh2 g3+ in the third one. There's something about forcing checks that attract my mind.
kolabear in puzzle 1 after Qc3 Qxc3 Nxc3 Be2 Nxe2 Re8+ white has Be3 winning.
and in puzzle 3 your line is interesting, Qg3 fails to Rh1+ winning the queen.
I think white has a perpetual with Rh8+ Kxh8 and Qe8/Qg6
Heads up, I'm not very good as this game, so any corrections to any possible miscalculations is appreciated.
First puzzle, after the exchange on c3, Be2?? is a blunder after Nxe2 Kxe2 Re8+. If Kf1 follows, Bd3#. Kd2 is your best option imho, but the king is vulnerable now. You're up a minor piece, so perhaps best is to give it back and castle.
Second puzzle, I probably would've played it that way, but I was too lazy to look for a solution. Went with you.
Third puzzle, I calculated Rf1+ Kh2 Qf2, with mate to follow, but white definately could've done something about it with Qg3. Didn't see that at the time.
lovin the puzzles jerry, do you ever play tournament chess anymore?
