A Message to Everyone, especially those who feel hopeless. There is hope for everyone, which is found solely in Christ:
ย ย ย This year was not what most of us imagined 2020 to be. From the outbreak of COVID-19 to the subsequent government-ordered quarantine, most of us were stuck at home for work or school.ย However, in the midst of everything, quarantine for me has also been a blessing in disguise. Although I am deeply saddened by the deaths and despair caused by the outbreak, thereโs so much that I have learned to appreciate throughout 2020. Throughout the COVID season, the opportunity to be with my family, the value of the time I had to live and reflect on what I value, and the knowledge and ambition to make the most of my life as a follower of Christ have all been invaluable lessons that I have learned and been reminded of this year.ย Read the whole post here
A Message to my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ:
ย ย ย We are reminded to live by Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." The Lord is sovereign; He is and always will be in control of everything. Even if we are called to have faith and not fear, we are to not be foolish. Instead, every one of us must "be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with the Lordโs people who are in need. Practice hospitality" (Romans 12:10-13 NIV). Continue to grow in the faith! Your fellowship has been a blessing to me. I thank God for having you to sharpen and strengthen my faith.
Everyone,ย there is hope for the Christian (in life and death) because, through His life, death, and resurrection, Jesus has given all people the gift of salvation, so "that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16 NIV). Read the whole post here
With 2020 coming to a close and 2021 starting up, I will always think back on these bittersweet times. However, the most important life lesson that will ever be remembered for 2020 is that the Lord is sovereign in our sufferings and ever-present when we need Him.
