Openings you thought were for beginners

As a beginner, I was taught openings like the scotch gambit, Giucco Piano, the four knights, and others like that. Most players think that they have to play more complicated openings the better they get. This is not true. Many players, even in the some of the highest sections, use openings like the scotch gambit, and are ver succesful. I used it at a national tournament once, and won. So just try it, and see what happens. just make sure you know the line well, and on't make any mistakes, becaus that will cause trouble for you.
