Hi there! I am starting my new series: Famous Chess Openings and in today's blogpost, I am going to be showing you how to play the Italian Game and some cool lines and traps you can use in your games! (To win ) Nevertheless, let's get started!

Now that we know how the main line is, let us look at a very common trap that most beginners fall for down below:

The one we just previously looked at is called the fried liver attack and your opponent (Black) can do a clever thing to block the attack, let us see how we can counter it:

And really, you should be able to win from right there! But if you're black... I got a trick for you if you want to counter this!
