RIP GM Daniel “Danya” Naroditsky.

More than a grandmaster, he was the rare teacher who made chess feel human. He taught plans, not just moves; patience under time pressure; and the power of small, accumulating advantages. 

His commentary and coaching gave clarity without ego and kindness without limits.
