My Dog is Better at Chess than Me

My dog for some reason is beating me at chess. (I taught him and I am 600elo) and he's somehow learned the hippo defense and King's gambit by himself and beat a 1600 bot. I worried about him(he's a German shepherd by the way if it's common in his breed) know I know German shepherd's are smart but he's probably in the top 1 percent of shepherds. Please comment if you have this problem too
