Dangerous Decoy Quiz
Hi Chess Friends,
I've taught a couple of lessons on decoy tactics recently and realized that they're often overlooked in chess literature, compared to more popular tactics, like forks and pins. It's not unusual for my opponents and I to miss them in games, and only find the ideas in later analysis. Here are a few of the best ones I've found or missed in my games. See if you can do better!
1. Warm up puzzle. White to move and draw.
2. A little harder. What should white play?
