Gurevich-Short Manila Interzonal 1990

A key game where Gurevich only needed a draw to advance to the Candidates tournament.  He choose to play for a draw and alter his normal playing style which failed.  Short went on to have a phenomenal Candidates tournament defeating Karpov and getting his shot for the world championship in 1993 against Kasparov.
