Puzzle Race
PUZZLE RACE

This is an idea for an alternative game.
I've called it Puzzle Race and it's basically a hurdle race but changing the obstacles for chess puzzles and legs for the mind. It consists of the following:
- Leitmotiv of the game: If you practice in the tactical section of the web, you will see that after solving each puzzle, statistics appear based on the results obtained by the total number of players. In addition, if you delve into your personal statistics, you will discover even more interesting data: objective time to solve each puzzle, average time of all the players, level of each puzzle ... Well, what will be covered in Puzzle Race is to measure our ability and speed to solve live puzzles against other players, not against statistics.
- Game mechanics: players will face the same series of random puzzles. They will earn points for each puzzle solved and lose points for each failure. In addition, as happens in training, the faster solve the puzzles more points will add and the more time spent solving each puzzle in the series fewer points they will get. The player who adds more points after completing the whole series will win the race.
- Game features: 1) There will be different Puzzle Race modes based on the number of problems: Puzzle Sprint (it will be a series of 5 puzzles); Puzzle Middle (series of 15 puzzles); Puzzle Marathon (40 puzzles) ect ... 2) Puzzle Race tournaments of the different categories will be organized throughout the day and those players who wish may participate 3) Once a tournament begins, the registered players will face each other the same series of puzzles and in the same order. The system will generate random series that will contain puzzles of different degrees of difficulty (Some will be very easy, others of medium level and others difficult) and they will combine different tactical themes. 4) Each time the player completes a puzzle (correctly or incorrectly) the system will automatically load the next puzzle of the series and the time will start to run 5) To avoid that the tournaments last too long, each puzzle must be solved in less than 4 minutes If the player has not made his movements before 4 minutes the system will charge the next puzzle and the player will add 0 points.
