Hullo everyone! One and main question which some of us, as players, sometimes ask ourselves is how chess can really be helpful in our real life.

Well, as professional & hobby players we play chess in the first place. Then we practice chess to improve our tactical & strategic ideas. This would be the pattern of chess routine of most players all around the world. We play games of chess to win but sometimes we lose and to avoid losing, we practice.

Is this all about chess?

Is this what chess really means?

In my opinion, NO!

As I said, chess is not only about playing and practicing, but it's about our life. Most of ideas and motifs of chess can be applied to our lives. For instance, imagine we are playing a chess game and we make a little mistake and eventually we lose due to it. It means, even one tiny mistake can decide the whole game and so is life. Do one little fault and you're doomed!

Not only that, but also there are a lot of idioms & quotes regarding the life in chess.

Referring to the famous saying, "Meaningful silence is superior to meaningless words." we often try to work by means of silence but not with noise and so is chess! Irrespective of the rule of making unnecessary noises may be offensive, we should remain silence while playing a chess game. In the real life, you also have to work in silence if you want to do something well.

Unlike most of other sports, psychology is the most important fact in chess. That's why it's one of the most respected sports in the world.

Well, at last but definitely not the least, I ought to say that don't become self-restricted in a narrow frame of few ideas. Even in chess, we have think independently and only then we'll be successful.

Okay guys! That's all for the day. By the way, this is the first post I created. So, if you enjoy reading, please comment and don't forget to follow me!

Thank you all!
