7/28/16 (Denker, Day -1)
It's almost here. Of course, I've already said that. But still.
Well, I just put myself on 'vacation' here on Chess.com. I've been doing my study method a lot. And I have a headache. This concludes the negativity portion of this post.
Last night, we went shopping for various items. Among the articles purchased were six small 'trinkets' representative of my state. You see, I learned that it is customary for players to exchange such representative tokens before the start of each round. So we had to think something up. And we did.
Today we pack, and tomorrow we drive. Barely tomorrow — 'cause I have to get up at 4 a.m. Fun.
I'm not sure if I'll do any chess-related things tomorrow. Should I take a day off? That is the question... It has been recommended that I do so, and I likely will. For the most part.
Okay, so how do I plan to chronicle all the events in my days? I can't do a hundred tiny blog posts... So I plan to use just one blog post for each day, updating it as I go. I may do separate post for each game; I'm not completely sure yet. Anyhow, I plan to keep everyone informed to a reasonable degree. Just check back every so often to see if I've updated the post for that particular day.
Well, that's it (probably) for now! I'll see y'all a little later on.
