Hi everyone! I'm sure y'all have heard of either Bobby Fischer or Pal Benko
Today, we're going back to 1963. The time is December 30, 1963. The place is New York City, New York. It's round 10 in the United States Chess Championship. Fischer has been paired with Pal Benko, known for the Benko Gambit. Fischer is playing the white pieces. Benko, the black pieces. What are we going to expect? A normal Ruy Lopez? A wild Sicilian Defense? or a calm Caro-Kann? Well, this blog is going to show what was played in the game, and i'll give my fresh analysis and take on the moves and lines in the match, along with my personal annotation.

Let me know if there's anything you would like me to analyze or cover in the game!
