Trapped Queen in the English

I was playing on board 4 against Phil M in the Manchester League for Altrincham and Sale, having won my previous game for the team on board 5. Unfortunately the promotion to board 4 did not work out well for me on this occasion. My opponent surprised me by playing the English, trapped my Queen, which I was able to rescue by sacrificing a knight. I then played aggressively to try to regain the initiative, playing some risky chess to try to intimidate my opponent into playing meekly. There's nothing to be gained by playing a safe game when you are a piece down. Unfortunately for me, my opponent had ice in their veins and played some nice tactics to finish me off. Congratulations to him. At least I beat him in one of the 10 minute games afterwards.
