Club Rules

Get a job for any promotions and a simple answer to your question, no.

I want Check n' Mate to be family friendly. (I know there are some kids who like chess. (Explain ChessKid.) If everyone does their own thing, it would get out of hand. So here are the rules:

No rules can be changed unless permission from me.

No talk about religion (except in GC Christians), politics, personal info etc.

No swearing or other fowl or language.

No cussing.

No talking about anything in votes.

No asking “can I be SA?” Get a job for any promotions and a simple answer to your question, no.

Please chat in VC (Vote Chess) chats about moves you played and moves being considered to be played.

Please, no bad moves in VC. If you don’t know what to play, look in chat.

No advertising unless permission from me @DeckertheBEAST. In the rare case i am not there (eg. i am taking a break from chess), talk to second in command @Waterstone33. This includes advertising clubs and outside tournaments.

No chatting in updates. (I finally will let you post in Notes.)

No personal info (and yes i said this twice). I don't need to know about what's happening in your life. This includes: your name, your age, your location, and your gender. 

No cheating. If you see someone cheating, DM me and i will report them and boot them from the club and ban them from the club. (Just don't cheat in the first place.)

If you see someone breaking the rules (other than cheating), DM me and i will kick them from the club. If it happens a second time, i will boot them and ban them.

If you are new and want to be welcomed, please say “Hello, i’m new” or something like that in notes. We are friendly, so go on ahead.
