Super Sunday ends in a draw for Delhi Dynamite

The much-awaited Super Sunday ended on a mixed note for Delhi Dynamite. After a promising start, Dynamite had to be content with a draw. Star player Abhijeet Gupta scored 4.5 points out of 8 games. Second and third board saw a similar performance by Vaibhav Suri and Lalith Babu, they scored 4.5 points each.  Whereas, Dynamite debutant and newly minted Indian IM Pritu Gupta scored 2.0/8 points.

This is a unique format where every Team from the Eastern Division played one Four-Game Match against Every Team from the Central Division. These matches all used the format of Board 1 vs Board 1, Board 2 vs Board 2 and etc.  This means each player is left with a tough opposition with no time for a breather. Dynamite had to be content with a tough Draw.

The gruelling 8 games went from night to early morning. As Dynamite is known for strong team spirit we had IM trio Tania Sachdev, Hemant Sharma and team manager Vishal Sareen in the studio commenting live on the official Twitch and YouTube channels all throughout 32 games! We take our team very seriously and provide much needed emotional support.
