Lethal Traps: #8- Fishing Pole Trap

Hello, fellow bloggers. In case you didn't see my last blog post, I have made 10 posts and have earned the "Printing Press" achievement. Yay! Thanks to you all for reading these. I really appreciate your support. Now, let's play some chess.

Let's analyze.

First, this opening comes from the Ruy Lopez opening, just like the Noah's Ark trap.

Second, 6... hxg4 is only powerful only because of the king's rook. Without that, Black would suffer a 2-point deficit.

Third, White's best method of escape is to not take on g4, but to play a developing move like d4, Nc3, etc.

Finally, this queen-rook battery absolutely decimates White's kingside structure. Even if White plays f3, Black shuts the door on White's hope of survival. Qh2 comes next, as well as that sweet little hashtag Black can write right next to that.

Thanks for reading. I really hope you enjoy your fall. (although in the south of the U.S.A, the temperature just won't go down! lol) Enjoy it all you can with school in session! wink For best results, I suggest playing chess! (WOW.)

Now, have a good day, or, at least, what's left of it.
