Lethal Traps: #9- Fajarowicz Trap
Welcome back! It's time for Lethal Traps #9! Let's get into it. Now-
Actually, before we do that, some quick things.
- Sorry for the low blog-post-per-week ratio. (if that's a thing
) As much as I enjoy making these posts, I have a life. A busy one. Thanks for sticking with me while I have to do school, choir practice, golf (occasionally), etc.
- Make sure you follow me, tell all your friends- well, just GIVE ME PUBLICITY!
- Finally, I'm starting a new series soon and I need ideas. Comment below! (I did this already, but I only got 1 suggestion. Thanks, darkshaggyeagle!)
NOW, let's jump right into the Budapest Gambit.
Time for analysis.
- 3... Ne4 transforms the Budapest Gambit into the risky Fajarowicz Variation. (I suppose that's where this trap got its name.
)
- 5... BXd6 opens the d-file, preparing for a sneaky attack.
- 6. g3 is a CRITICAL ERROR. 6... NXf2 forks the White queen and rook, forcing White to take on f2. But, after Black plays 7... BXg3, White has no choice but to give up his/her queen. (I won't discriminate.
)

Thanks for reading. Comment below any series ideas or even ideas for single posts! Also, check out CoolFavoriteNeck and LimeRapidWalrus' blog posts. They're awesome! (just like mine )
Now, have a good day, or, at least, what's left of it.
