LICC March Open, 2nd round
After winning the lower class prize in the LICC Winter Open, I decided to try my luck again and play in the LICC March Open (Similar format). The luck started right away, as I was awarded a point in the first round since we had a odd number of players (I was the lowest rated and thus was unpaired).
Below is my second game from the tournament. I continued the good luck by scrapping out a draw against a tough opponent. I found myself down the exchange, but was able to construct a fortress-like position. Interestingly, my opponent failed to realize that sacing the exchange back could have netted him an extra pawn, leading to a clearly won position.
