Numbers

Hey there many of you are seeing that number next to your name when you play rapid or blitz but what does that mean what is the point?

Its you rating now that rating or number depicts how well you are at chess  Or does it?

The true answer would be yes but its not the most accruate thing out there to state your rating because sometimes it incrreases when you draw or sometimes you win and it goes up only because the person quit or sometimes it changes only a little when it should have changed a lot.

My rating is sucky a solid 100-500 depending on the game but that does not mean im bad at chess.

Someone may be at 100  but still be able to beat a 2300 because they know the game reasons they may have a bad rating is because they may not play chess.com alot but may play lichess.org alot there truley is no way for chess.com to know your real chess rating you would need to play in real life torunaments or games with someone who is good with chess who can evaluate your true rating .

How can I earn my self a fide rating?

A that im not really sure but i think playing a fide torunament my get you a rating but it wont be official 100 percent first register your self to Uschess.com the official chess website and mabye there is a better answer then this able to help.

bobby fischer teaches chess by bobby fischer donn mosnfielder and stuart marguiless 

these books both are top books i recomend the first one mamoth book of chess teahces about diffrent parts and instances in the game and diffrent parts of a game whereas giving you opening tips and a few puzzles,

while bobby fishcer teaches chess is a puzzle book explaining each section and of a game and gives you diffrent puzzles to match diffrent situations this is the ultimate puzzle one and even better is made with when you finsih reading the book correctly flip it over and read it with more puzzles now there. each one of these puzzles contain an answer to each puzzle and an explanation.
