Hey there today i will be letting you know why you should do puzzles and what the results may be if you do puzzles.

Let me start first with explaining the different types of puzzles chess.com offers.

First we have Puzzle Battles these are where two players can face each other to complete puzzles in the allotted time the person with the most puzzles completed Correctly (signified by an ✅) wins the competition and i believe if I'm not mistaken your puzzles rating increases.

Next we have Puzzle rushes.

you can play them in survival mode which is to try and get as many puzzles complete as possible in the fastest time possible the rush ends when you fail three puzzles **note that you only have one shot at the puzzles**

The next type of puzzle you can do in a puzzle rush is 3 minute rush.

The three minute rush is where you have three minutes to  complete as many puzzles as possible in the three minute time limit.

Then there is the 5 minute rush which is just like the three minute rush except you have 5 minutes.

Then we got the daily puzzle which is a new one every day you try to solve the puzzle and if you have premium you can solve any days puzzle like for example if i finished the daily puzzle because i have premium i can go back and solve December 30 2024's puzzle.

lastly there is just puzzles where you can do them have fun and try to increase your rating with your puzzles your limited to 5 puzzles without a membership but infinity with one.

Now why would someone want to do puzzles?

One may do puzzles just for fun or for the reason puzzles exists.

Puzzles can deeply help you understand the different openings or ways your game might go and then give you a scenario that may occur in your game and then you have to try and solve for the given problem this may be helpful for people who struggle with chess.
