𝐌𝐲 𝟔𝟎 𝐦𝐢𝐧 𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞

Let me share with you my routine when I study chess at home.

𝟏. 𝐓𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧

I solve specific puzzles and motifs that will help to improve my tactical vision.

𝟐. 𝗪𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐨𝐧 𝐦𝐲 𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠:

I spend most of my time on this one.

I work on my main thing/issue.

First, you must understand your weakest point and then you need a plan to overcome it.

This is your main thing and should be your priority.

There is always room to improve in all the aspects of your game.

BUT, if you don't know your main problem, you won't progress.

It amazed me how people are obsessed with openings these days.

That is an example of not having your priorities in order.

𝟑. 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠/𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐲 𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬

I play a couple of games. Then I analyze them to spot my mistakes and see if my training is working or not.

My chess routine takes me 60 to 90 minutes, depending on my schedule for that day and how busy I am.

You need to focus on the things that really matter. Don't waste your time doing things that won't help you improve.

Do you know what your main thing is?
