Exploring the Art of The Pirc Defense

Welcome all “pro” players as you may know I’m exploring the art of the Pirc Defense/Modern Defense. Why on earth would I be learning this opening? First of all I really hate playing e5 because 1: some reason my opponents play the Kings gambit or the Scotch(which I guess is pretty normal) so why not try an opening that avoids the opening that I don’t like 2: the Pirc helps to make white play harder and is a good way for black to have counterattacks. If I was too lazy(sometimes am). I can make do with playing e5, but sometimes I get in a terrible position along with my “amazing” skills. So here is my first game I played the Pirc Defense online of course 

To my surprise I actually played pretty decently. The Pirc Defense is good in my opinion because for someone who isn’t the best with memorizing theory this opening is simple and easy to learn.
