Connection Troubles

Why does my connection go down often? The reason why I stopped playing on this site three years ago was because of this very same problem, and I see that it has not changed for the better. It usually happens when I have a won game about to 'bless' me with a few more rating points, but I end up losing a few. Of course, 'ratings' don't mean much here and on most other online chess websites, so I shouldn't be upset. However, I am curious as to why this is happening, especially since I was doing well before my connection began to experience these problems. WHO out there has these same connection interruptions?
