Hello friends! Hope you all are doing well.Today we are going to look at 2 things) The Marshall Gambit and the Baltic Defense.Okay so we play d4. Black responds 1.d5. We play c4 and Black plays the QGD with 2.e6. Now we play Nc3 and Black plays c6. Here we play e4 and this is the Marshall Gambit.

Let's look at a tricky variation

From here on Black has two main continuations. 9.b6 and 9.f6 Let's look at 9.b6 first.

Our idea is to play Nd2+ followed by Bh5+ and Bf3 

Now let's look at what happens if Black plays f6.

Our Idea is to attack with Ne4 and b4.

Now let's look at the Baltic Defense

Our Idea is to play Bb5+ Nd7 and Re1 and crush Black.
