Here we start our Sicilian coverage with what I consider to be the main line. A Sicilian response is the most popular choice of strong players, and I have had many tough battles. Note that the scheme I offer can also be gotten via 1 e4 c5 2 Be2. A hero of mine for the Be2 Sicilian is GM Vladislav Kovalev. His games have been educational for me.
