I suspect opponents that play 2 Nc3 are Jobava Attack (1 d4 d5 2 Nc3) fans. In the main line, White plays 3 dxe5 and trades queens, which is the equivalent to the Maroczy - 3 dxe5 Endgame line. And if White follows up with a quick e4, then play transposes to line 47.
