Puzzle Rush Excitement and/or Chaos?
Hey everyone, Drunken_Shrimp here, and today's blog is going to be about puzzle rush. I remember when it first came out. Everyone was going completely crazy. The high score was in the low thirties - ish. A month or so passed, and then Hikaru gets a 50 something. More chaos ensues. A couple more months pass, Hikaru gets a 55 and some other people start getting high scores. Then out of the blue, Ray Robson, (Chess.com username: spicycaterpillar) gets a score higher than Hikaru's. This is HUGE. Hikaru had the best score and then everyone wants to know who spicycaterpillar is. At this point spicycaterpillar hasn't given out his name yet, so there is a ton of speculation. People were wondering "Is he Magnus?". And then, a couple days ago, IM Casper_Schoppen gets a 96! Below is a video link of him getting a 70. And that pretty much wraps up everything.
