Duckfest Luckfest Part 2
Introduction
In this collection I'm sharing games featuring lucky mates. Games where I was able to checkmate my opponent in an unexpected or lucky way. The victories took little effort or skill on my part but were made possible my opponent, sometimes creating winning chances out of thin air!
Just some quick and simple games, that are fun. If you want to become better at chess, these games will probably not help you much. Enjoy!
Part 2
The Two Bishops
A tale of two Bishops that are polar opposites. The contrast between the two is like day and night, they even look totally different, one is white and the other black. All areas where one is strongest are the areas where the other is weakest. They are so different, they don't even move in the same spaces.
After an uneventful opening phase the real battle starts around move 11 with one of the Bishops leading the attack and he charges into enemy territory. But the circumstances change and the first Bishop becomes trapped by opposing forces. Luckily the second Bishop, precisely because he is so different, can swoop in and take over. and decide the fate of war.
It's was an intense and short battle. really short. lol.
