Puzzles & Explanations

Hey guys, I made this so that you guys can try out this puzzles that I had made. I don't want to just only give puzzles but also an explanation. I didn't know what kind of puzzles you guys would want so I asked some people what they preferred and all I got is, few but damn near impossible to solve. Good luck into solving the puzzles.

This is kind of easy. If you guys have the knowledge of checkmating with a rook, then it would be easy to solve.

2.

This will be challenging for some of you or most of you, I don't know. In order to checkmate , you need to sacrifice , then you can checkmate using .

If you have the mindset of getting more points, you might be able to solve this. Basically, you sacrifice a piece so that you could do a fork with . In the end, you are up with 3 points.

4.

This is similar to the first puzzle, but this puzzle requires sacrifice. Then, it will be a forced checkmate.

5.

This puzzle requires a sacrifice in order to checkmate . The is blocking the path of , which means it will be a checkmate if the is out of the way. In order to do it, it needs a material that is greater than the , which is . Hint: Do a sac so that the opponent will fall for the trap.

6.

Some people might get a missed win as they focus on . People sometime focus on capturing the queen instead of checkmating. This is not really a puzzle, it is a test. 

7.

This puzzle proves that having the knowledge of En Passant helps a lot when playing chess. 

8.

This is a puzzle which not many people could solve as it needs a sacrifice which would lead to a forced checkmate
