Alien Gambit: Part 2
Welcome back to part 2 of the Alien Gambit. Here, we are going to learn how to defend the next reply that black does. If black does not get the bishop out, black will most likely get the knight out to control all the light squares. Now, our goal is to get the bishop and the rook out to give out strong attacks on the weak light squares on the kingside.
In this position, we can play this check with the knight on e5. They can't take the knight with the knight because after Kxe5, the pawn recaptures and forks the knight and bishop, so black has to take with the bishop and when the pawn takes, the knight is most likely to move to d5 to control the center. But we can force mate.
Go ahead and try it out! P.S: Part 3 coming soon!
