2023/08/29 DPA: "Intermezzo or Zwischenzug?"

I don't see any mating attack.  Not even a check.

Black's Queen is under attack but it's defended.  Since I don't read titles [to avoid the hint and misinterpreting the meaning], I figured out that a nice Intermezzo/Zwischenzug ["in-between" move] solves the puzzle:

1. Nxc6 Qxd1  2. Ne7+ [if 2. Rxd1 bxc6 and material is even] Kh8  3. Rxd1.

So we did recapture on d1 but we first inserted 2. Ne7+ which eliminated the possibility of the Knight being captured and did so with check so Black couldn't capture the Rook [with check].

This is what Intermezzo/Zwischenzug is all about:  delaying playing the obvious move by first playing something else to gain an advantage.

The puzzle also involves removing a defender but that alone isn't enough.
