2024/05/10 DPA: "I Spy...A Queen Without Her Guard"

Black to move.
White has back rank weakness.
1. ... Rh1+. 2. Kxh1 Nxf2+ 3. Rxf2 Qxf2 but Black can't get to the back row.
Wait: White's Queen is unguarded. So 2. ... Nxf2+ threatens the Queen.
.
The more efficient way to solve this would have been to first recognize that the White Queen was unguarded and the way to attack it was to move the Knight but it had to be with check so the only way to set that up is to attract the King to h1.
Instead, I looked at checkmate threats and only factored the Queen in as a defensive piece, guarding e1 and a1. After I saw that the Black Queen still couldn't get to the back rank, only then did I notice the hanging White Queen.
