Hello everyone, and welcome back to my 2nd post of my Piece Domination series! Today we'll be looking at an example or two (from my games, as always) where a fianchettoed bishop dominates the board! Let's get started! happy.png

This first position arose in a poorly played game from both sides, with me being on the white side. My opponent blundered the exchange, but then came back with a dominant bishop in the following position. See if you can spot the winning move!

This next position features yet another Kings Indian bishop, and this time I'm on the black side. A crushing position:

Finally, in this last game I am once again black and playing a wonderful Kings Indian Defense. This was the crucial game in a team match, and I pulled through for the team! happy.png

Thank you so much for reading this blog post! Please note that I find all of these examples from my own games, no other places. However, if you liked these examples of piece domination and/or had another example that you'd like to share, make sure to comment down below and let me know. Until next time! happy.png
