For the first time in this series, choosing a game as miniature of the week took me only a couple of seconds - in fact, I didn’t even have to actively search for the game! That’s because I’ve been following the UzChess Cup in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, featuring a number of the world’s top Super-GMs. In a decisive first round, top seed Arjun Erigaisi found himself in a winning position on only move eleven against Nodirbek Yakubboev, still presumably in prep.
